MacBack (sometimes rendered as "MacBacK") is automated (that is, unattended) tape backup software for the Macintosh.
Compatibility:
For System 6.0 or later (including MultiFinder). Requires at least 512kb of RAM. It can be used with AppleShare or TOPS.
Compatible with the following devices: "ADIC MacBack hardware" (MacBack 4000/8000), Apple Tape Backup, SuperMac Tape Drive, GCC HyperTape, Tecmar QT-Mac 80, CORE Tape 125, Mirror Tape 40, "Any block addressable, QIC-100 format compatible units", "Any hard disk, floppy disk, erasable optical or WORM drive units".
Not compatible with Irwin Magnetics tape units.
